Karen grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. Inspired by a Canadian interior designer on YouTube, she was taken with the processes and steps involved with seeing projects come to fruition and ultimately the clients' happy reactions!  She pursued this interest at Purdue University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in Interior Design Technology. A few months after graduating she moved to CT with her husband, a Master of Architecture candidate at Yale University, and began working in the interior design field.

 

Karen's hobbies include painting scenes of plants and sunsets, painting her nails, and playing around with makeup. Hmmm...all forms of painting!  She loves animals and has a few pets of her own which include a boxer dog named Pancho, a chameleon named Mr. Pickle and Ariel the betta fish.
