"A place for everything, everything in its place"

My life is always well-organized, methodical, and orderly…who am I kidding?!  I just asked Allyson where my glasses are.  Yep you guessed it, they’re on top of my head!

Following Benjamin Franklin’s advice, “A place for everything, everything in its place”, proves to be the secret to designing a successful kitchen.  I love finding different and unique ways to have a place for everything.  Nothing is more rewarding than to watch a client’s face as they witness some of my wild ideas!

What appears as a paneled end on this island is actually filled with great little storage spots.  Here a wide drawer face hides a half drawer! Pretty ingenious if I do say so myself! 😉

How can I not love this?! First off, the cabinetry is my signature LDD color.  Secondly, I love to bake! Such a clever design!

Spice drawer too dark? Can’t always read the labels clearly? No worries, Venegas and Company will light your drawers right up! Dishes stack neatly into deep drawers with removable pegs to properly space various sized plates.  Marvelous!

This ain’t your mama’s lazy susan! No more spinning and reaching into tight corners. This really does allow for efficient usage of those dead corners! Note … and lit too!

It’s no secret I love my coffee … but I certainly would love a secret coffee cabinet! Check out the pot filler! Just spectacular!

Nope, not three drawers! It’s another cool little appliance garage…with a hinge sensitive light.  Yeah, I’ll take full credit for this gem!

Half-round beadboard island endcaps open with pressure sensitive doors.  Another great spot for oddball storage.

Great storage doesn’t need to be hidden! Use some of your storage as display!

LDD is kicking off 2016 with a couple of kitchen projects.  I’ve already slated a few of these fun ideas as must-haves for those designs!  Just wait and see what I finalize!
