My good friend, Angela is the master of thank you notes; a lost art if you ask me. In an age of digital everything, the receipt of a handwritten note is so unexpected that I find myself saving them!
As we rolled into 2024, I resisted the tradition of making resolutions but instead chose to look forward with intentions. One of those intentions - practice more gratitude and to act upon it. Writing thank you notes is a great way to do both!

The watch was a huge hit. It made its debut at a fundraising event where a colleague asked, ‘Is that a Shinola watch?’. I stood along side my Prince and watched his face break into a warm smile as he acknowledged that it, in fact, was and started to share his knowledge of the Shinola story and how this watch was part of that company’s mission to revitalize Detroit, MI.
Cheers to 33 years of marital bliss. I couldn’t imagine this ride we call life without my Prince. Cheers to good ol’ American craftmanship!
